Visionary Entrepreneurs

Stanford Research Park was founded to create an environment suited to taking inspired ideas and promising research and turning them into tangible products.
75 years later, that philosophy remains at the heart of the Research Park. Every day, bold entrepreneurs and the teams that support their visions come here to dream big, generate new ideas, determine which ones have potential, and transform encouraging results into new products and enterprises.

The Stanford
Connection

image

Stanford Research Park is owned and operated by Stanford University. Stanford researchers have defined the cutting edge for decades. They launched the computer age in Silicon Valley, played a pivotal role in establishing the biotech industry, and have been leaders in advancing artificial intelligence, all with an eye toward benefiting humanity.

It makes sense that a research university would create opportunities for its graduates to expand research beyond academia and put their knowledge to use creating new businesses and working with established ones. The Research Park was created as one pathway for University talent to develop their ideas into new enterprises or join companies that are moving the world forward.
